BMW Arrowhead Grand Opening

To celebrate the opening of Glendale’s new $30,000,000, 80,000 square foot BMW Arrowhead dealership in February of 2019, Mirrored Media created an elegant, stylish event that captures the spirit of our long-time partners BMW and the local community. Outside of the dealership, custom signage, massive flags, and kinetic spotlights directed over 500 attendees to the valet. We designed our valet station to look like a “finish line,” complete with flags and black-and-white stripes, so that just by arriving, all of our guests were already winners. Rain was predicted for that afternoon, so we additionally arranged for valets with umbrellas to escort every guest inside.

 

 

Immediately within the doors of the dealership, guests were greeted by a display of BMW’s high-end, race fleet M Cars, as well as BMW brand ambassador greeters and waiters with complimentary champagne. An enormous custom sign declared “Wilkommen” – “Welcome” in German. Guests were free to take their picture in front of a step-and-repeat, grab a bite from our passing trays of hors d’oeuvres, or visit our fully-stocked bar. Above the bar, sleek holoblades projected the BMW logo in 3D. Two certified BMW Geniuses were on hand to collect guest information for a raffle that gave them a chance to win a BMW scooter, and throughout the space were custom floral arrangements featuring the calla lily – BMW’s signature flower.

 

 

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, dealership owner Steve Bowers was awarded multiple recognitions and plaques by the city of Glendale. There were speeches from local politicians and the scooter raffle, plus a DJ spinning to keep our guests energized, engaged, and enthusiastic throughout the entire celebration.
