The Americana at Brand’s Christmas Line-up included Performances by Disney’s DCappella and the Cast of “Love Actually Live,” the Lighting of the Christmas Tree, and a Fireworks Finale. This holiday spectacular was produced by Mirrored Media and presented by Keck Medicine of USC.
The Americana at Brand began its annual Christmas tree lighting event on Thursday (Nov. 15) with a pre-show performance by Disney’s a cappella sensation DCappella and a special performance from the cast of For the Record and the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts’ production of “Love Actually Live.” The evening culminated with the arrival of Santa Claus and the lighting of the 100-foot tall Christmas tree followed by falling snow and bursting fireworks. The evening’s show was produced by Mirrored Media and presented by Keck Medical of USC with supporting sponsors, The Lincoln Motor Company and Uber.
Love Actually Live cast members included, actress and singer, Rumor Willis, Pitch Perfect star, Kelley Jakie, Broadway actor and American Idol contestant Zak Resnick, and NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar: Live in Concert, Justin Sargent.
Following the tree lighting, the Americana at Brand continued the festivities with the opening of Santa’s House in The Green. Guests will have a magical experience at Santa’s House throughout the holidays with live entertainment, holiday treats, and photos that can be easily emailed and shared on social media. On December 10th, Mrs. Claus will make a special visit to The Americana at Brand from 10AM – 1PM to help our hearing-impaired guests interpret Santa Claus. Santa’s House is open daily during center hours until December 24th.
