Sabrina Carpenter Album Release Tour

To celebrate Sabrina Carpenter’s newest release, “Almost Love”, from her forthcoming album Singular, Hollywood Records enlisted Mirrored Media to produce a five-city tour that gave fans an up-close-and-personal experience with Sabrina as she debuted unreleased music and performed the new single.

The event series took place over the course of three weeks in July 2018 with stops in major markets throughout the US. Fan club members and radio contest winners packed intimate venues in Chicago, Dallas, New York City, Miami, and San Francisco for a variety of activations that culminated with an exclusive appearance from Sabrina herself.

With Sabrina set to share unreleased music from her personal phone, fans were required to relinquish their phones upon entry, creating an even more exclusive and intimate experience. After checking in, fans gathered inside the venue to enjoy catered hors d’oeuvres and desserts along with a variety of activations. DJ Alex D spun tracks while also encouraging brave fans to step up to the karaoke machine, which featured a playlist curated by Sabrina herself. Attendees were also invited to write down questions for Sabrina that would be asked of her during an exclusive Q&A after the performance.

Each venue was carefully curated to match the aesthetic of Sabrina’s new release, with Roman busts displayed throughout the space. A photo booth experience with the statue of David gave fans a chance to capture instantly shareable content with a custom overlay specific to each city. “Almost Love” lyric decals were affixed throughout the space along with pull-up banners and album art.

Once everyone was settled in, Sabrina was introduced to the stage for an exclusive performance of “Almost Love”, immediately followed by a fan Q&A hosted by DJ Alex D. Sabrina then surprised fans by playing several unreleased songs from her upcoming record – some unfinished – directly from her phone. She even detailed personal stories of how each one came to be, much to the delight of the die-hard fans in attendance.

The events came to a close with a personal meet & greet with Sabrina in front of an album-inspired red curtain. Every single attendee was able to chat with Sabrina and get two photos taken: one available digitally and one keepsake Polaroid they could take with them.

Sabrina Carpenter “Why” Release Photo Booth

On July 7th, Hollywood Records recording artist Sabrina Carpenter released her single “Why” as a follow-up to last year’s Evolution and 2015’s Eyes Wide Open.  To celebrate the release and generate more hype for “Why”, Mirrored Media created a unique two-day pop up activation at Santa Monica Place with a custom built, LED photo booth.  From 10am until 10pm, fans and shoppers were encouraged to step inside the booth for an epic photo experience with friends and family while they danced along to “Why”, which played on the surrounding speakers. Because of the unique design and allure of the color-changing LED strips, the booth not only attracted Carpenter’s die-hard fans, but also many unsuspecting mall patrons who began the day unfamiliar with Carpenter and her music. Thousands of fans, new and old, enjoyed the activation over two days, with some coming back for second photos after day turned to night. Using the hashtag #SabrinaWhy, fans were able to share their photo booth experience while spreading the word about the release.

Mirrored Media teamed up with Hollywood Records, Sabrina Carpenter, and Forever 21 to create three very special meet-and-greets for Sabrina Carpenter fans during the release of her sophomore album, EVOLution.  Fans were encouraged to bring in copies of their albums for autographs and met the pop star in front of a signature step-and-repeat.  The events took place at three Forever 21 locations in San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles over the course of 2 days, giving Sabrina an opportunity to meet some of her most loyal and dedicated followers in the Southern California area and share in their excitement of the highly anticipated new album.  All who attended enjoyed listening to the album as they waited for their turn to meet Sabrina.  As an added bonus, the first 250 fans to arrive were greeted with specialty cupcakes designed to match the color scheme of EVOLution.

The weekend was a great success, with nearly 2,000 fans getting a chance to be up close and personal with Sabrina Carpenter.  For the artist, it was an especially monumental moment to experience, firsthand, the initial authentic reactions to the album.  Overall, Mirrored Media set out to create a series of environments that facilitated the celebration of EVOLution while also giving Sabrina the opportunity to touch those who are most valuable to her success – the fans.

Mirrored Media teamed up with Hollywood Records, PhilyMack, and Bea Miller to produce a truly one of a kind music video release screening event. The event gave fans a first look at Bea’s newest single, “Yes Girl” and was hosted by Just Jared. The event included ‘tea with Bea’, drinks, snacks, a custom photo booth, screening, Q&A, photo ops, and a meet and greet. Mirrored Media helped to recreate a scene from the music video live in person for fans to experience.

“Bea Miller takes the stage to introduce her brand new “Yes Girl” music video at the premiere event held at Beacher’s Madhouse inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Wednesday evening (August 24) in Los Angeles.

The 17-year-old songstress talked about the track in depth during a Q&A hosted by JustJared.com‘s own Jared Eng.

“Yes Girl” is about having a relationship with anybody who is incredibly controlling,” Bea said about the song. “It’s about overcoming that and realizing you don’t need them in your life anymore.”

She added, “The strings are representative of people in my life who need things from me constantly, who make me feel like I’m tied down to [them] in a literal sense. The video visually brings that feeling and struggle to life.

The video was directed by Aya Tanimura and shot in Los Angeles.” – JustJared.com
