To promote the theatrical release of Masters of the Universe from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel, the iconic franchise stepped into the physical world with Into Eternia, a large-scale fan and creator experience that took over a sound stage at the legendary Lot at Formosa in Los Angeles. Welcoming more than 500 fans, creators, and partners throughout the day, the immersive walk through experience invited guests to embark on their own hero's journey through Eternia, bringing the film's mythology into a content forward, interactive environment for fans and creators.
\ Designed to engage both lifelong fans and a new generation discovering the franchise, the experience translated iconic characters, locations, and themes from the film into a series of interactive, real-world encounters. Rooted in Prince Adam's journey to fulfill his destiny, the activation was structured as an interactive path to mastery. Upon arrival, each guest received a personalized Eternia passport featuring a personalized QR code, unlocking access to their photos and videos captured throughout the event. The passport served as both a guide and keepsake, encouraging guests to master each challenge while collecting personalized content throughout the experience.
\ Upon entering the experience, guests got to walk a large step and repeat and get their own red carpet style moment before entering the experience. The journey unfolded across eight immersive environments giving guests the ability to be their own masters. Guests first piloted a starship into Eternia through a cinematic cockpit simulation complete with G-force winds and cosmic lighting making an epic slow-mo video take away. Having arrived in Eternia, they were met with a scene straight off the set with sculpted rocks sitting in front of the iconic Castle Grayskull for a content moment. From there, they had the opportunity to master their skills and train alongside a real theatrical stunt choreographer in a Castle Grayskull-inspired sword fighting arena and capture their moves. Then their big moment, they stepped in front of a green screen sword in hand and lifted the Power Sword, proclaimed “By the Power of Grayskull… I Have the Power,” and were transported live into a Proto box set into a scenic background where a holographic version of themselves appeared amid live special effects and creating the ultimate He-Man experience. Additional moments included a bucking Battle Cat challenge giving fans the opportunity to master a Battle Cat ride, and sit in Skeletor's throne for an epic photo. At the end of the experience, creators were treated to a themed bar with custom cocktails and the opportunity to enjoy the Masters Gaming Lounge, where attendees demoed Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite on Amazon Luna alongside a curated display of vintage Mattel action figures celebrating the franchise's legacy.
\ As a special treat for their journey through Eternia, Denny's brought its limited-time Masters of the Universe collaboration to life through a custom Battle Cat-wrapped Mobile Diner. Guests sampled franchise-inspired menu items including the He-Man Battle Burger and Skeletor's Dark Shakeverse, alongside Eternia-themed cocktails and mocktails. The experience concluded with curated takeaways including exclusive event apparel, posters, postcards, and collectible stickers.
\ The activation was further amplified by appearances from film cast members Nicholas Galitzine (Prince Adam/He-Man), Camila Mendes (Teela), and Alison Brie (Evil-Lyn). Fans arrived in character, quoted iconic franchise lines throughout the event, and documented every moment across social platforms, highlighting the enthusiasm and nostalgia that continue to surround the property.
