Inside the expo hall at VidCon 2019, Mirrored Media teamed up with NBCUniversal for the brand’s “Share Your Voice” booth, which encouraged VidCon attendees to share their voice on everything from the issues that matter most to the influencers they love. The booth held activations for four different NBCU brands: The Rundown, Bluprint, E! People’s Choice Awards, and Stay Tuned.
Guests selected from a menu of pop culture phrases (everything from “Treat Yoself” to “This is a Case for the FBI”) to have printed on a custom, branded t-shirt using a handheld digital printer. The Rundown even filmed a live episode from the activation with host Erin Lim.
Guests used paint pens to express themselves on a “Share Your Voice” mural designed by artist Amy Tangerine. The mural was filled in by guests throughout the three days of VidCon 2019.
Guests could strut the “black carpet” in a branded photo booth experience. After walking the carpet, guests could “write in” their choices for People’s Choice Awards nominees on iPads powered by Builder by Engineer.ai.
Attendees stepped into the video booth to record their own VidCon-themed “segment” of the show—which could appear on a future episode of Stay Tuned. Guests used iPads to share the causes they wanted to see featured on the news - from immigration to climate change - powered by Builder. Stay Tuned filmed from the activation with hosts Savannah Sellers, Gadi Schwartz, and Lawrence Jackson.
